Why EchoBD exists

EchoBD does one thing: the confirmation call that every cash-on-delivery store in Bangladesh is already making by hand — in Bangla, on every order, without anyone staying late to make it.

Cash on delivery is how Bangladesh buys online, and it is also how stores quietly lose money.

An order costs the customer nothing to place, so a real share of them were never real orders at all. The parcel still gets packed. A rider still carries it across the city. Nobody answers the door, and it comes back — with the merchant paying freight in both directions for a sale that never existed.

The fix everyone already knows is to ring every order before it ships. It works. It also means somebody sits with a phone until eleven at night repeating the same four questions in Bangla, and it is the first thing that breaks in the week before Eid, which is precisely the week you cannot afford it to.

So we built the call rather than the call centre. EchoBD reads the order back in Bangla, the customer confirms with a single keypress, and your store hears about it over a webhook before the parcel is ever packed. There is no app for the customer to install and nothing for them to learn — it is a phone call, which is the one interface every customer in the country already knows how to use.

What we believe

Four decisions that cost us something

Every one of these closed a door somewhere else. They are the reason the product behaves the way it does on a real call.

  • Bangla, not translated Bangla

The call happens in the language the order was placed in. Bangla sits in the type system, the voices, and the scripts — it was not a locale file we got around to last.

  • One key, not a conversation

We did not build something that argues with your customer. It asks one question and takes one digit, because that is the interaction that survives a bad line, an old handset, and a caller who would rather not talk to a machine.

  • Hand over when it matters

A robot that mishears is worse than no call at all. Press 2 and EchoBD stops talking and bridges the customer to a person on your team. Knowing when to quit is a feature, not a gap.

  • The result belongs in your store

Every call ends as a webhook into your system, not as a number in our dashboard you have to come and read. The order in your own admin should be the one that tells the truth.

Judge it on a call, not on this page

Hear the whole thing end to end on the home page, or tell us what your store runs on and we will say plainly whether it is worth your time.
